The Styling Advantage: Booking Terms

These terms apply to all bookings for The Styling Advantage, run by Australian Style Institute. By booking a seat you agree to them.

1. The Workshop

The Styling Advantage is a one-day workshop facilitated by Lauren Di Bartolo, held in person in Melbourne on Tuesday 20 October 2026 (10am to 5pm) and live online on Tuesday 27 October 2026 (10am to 5pm AEST).

2. Booking and payment

Seats are limited and are confirmed only when payment is received in full. Bookings are taken in the order payment is received.

Team bookings of five or more seats may be invoiced by arrangement, with payment due within seven days of the invoice date. Seats are not held beyond that period. If an invoice is unpaid after seven days, those seats are released and returned to general availability.

3. Pricing

Single seat: $995, inclusive of GST.
Team rate: $850 per seat, inclusive of GST, for bookings of three or more seats made at the same time.

The team rate applies to the booking as a whole. If a seat is later cancelled or refunded, the rate for the remaining seats is unaffected.

4. Transferring your seat

Seats are fully transferable. If the person booked can no longer attend, another person from your business may attend in their place at no cost, up to 24 hours before the workshop begins. Let us know the new attendee's name and email so we can update the register and send them their joining details and materials.

5. Changing dates

You may move your seat between the Melbourne and online dates at no cost, subject to availability, up to seven days before the date you are booked for.

Numbers are limited in each session, so we ask that you let us know as early as you can. The earlier we hear from you, the more likely we can accommodate the change.

6. Cancelling your booking

Cancellations made more than 14 days before your booked date receive a full refund.

Cancellations made within 14 days of your booked date are non-refundable. Your seat remains transferable to someone else from your business under clause 4, up to 24 hours before the workshop, so nothing needs to go to waste.

Non-attendance without notice is treated as a cancellation within 14 days.

7. The Lunch-Break Guarantee

This guarantee is separate from, and additional to, the cancellation terms above. It applies to every seat on both dates, including seats booked at the team rate.

If, by the lunch break on the day, you do not believe The Styling Advantage is the missing layer under the training your team has already had, tell Lauren before the afternoon session begins, leave, and we will refund your seat in full.

• The request must be made on the day, before the afternoon session starts. Requests made after the workshop cannot be considered under this guarantee.

• Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 14 days.

• The guarantee applies per seat. Where several people attend on one booking, each person decides for themselves.

• Where a seat is refunded under this guarantee, the workshop materials, including the seven-day plan and The Fitting Room Phrasebook, are not supplied.

8. If we cancel or change the workshop

We will let you know as soon as possible if a date changes.

If the Melbourne workshop cannot go ahead in person for any reason, your seat transfers to the live online workshop on Tuesday 27 October at no cost.

If the online workshop cannot go ahead, we will offer an alternative date, or a full refund if that date does not suit you.

9. Attending online

Joining details are sent to the registered attendee by email the day before. You will need a reliable internet connection, a device with camera and microphone, and a quiet place to work from, as the day includes live participation.

The workshop is not recorded for distribution, and attendees may not record it.

10. Materials

Materials provided during and after the workshop, including the seven-day plan and The Fitting Room Phrasebook, are for use by you and the team in your own business. They remain the intellectual property of Australian Style Institute and may not be resold, published, or shared outside your business, or used to deliver training to third parties.

11. Photography and filming

We take photographs and video at the Melbourne workshop for our own marketing. If you would prefer not to appear, tell us on the day and we will make sure you don't.

12. Your information

We collect your details to administer your booking and to keep you informed about this workshop. We handle them in line with our privacy policy, and you can unsubscribe from our emails at any time.

13. Your rights under Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot be excluded.
